iPad Accessories Missing on April 3

News wires are buzzing today with the fact that Apple will not be shipping some key accessories for the iPad on April 3.  Rather, they will follow up the initial shipments and iPad units to the stores with a trickle of products from April 4th through the end of May, by some reports. What accessories you might ask?  Well, some of them are frivilous like the iPad Soft Pad Case and some video connectors.  Others are pretty integral, like the 10w iPad Power Adapter and the Keyboard Dock…and they are still is waiting on a shipping date. 152000 iPad Orders Can’t Be Wrong

In their first weekend of sale, the iPad apparently sold over 150,000 units sight-unseen.  It’s an amazing event, even for the great marketing machine at Apple.  Once these babies hit the street, you now have 150,000 salespeople on the street.    Daniel Tello, a market expert, told Fortune magazine that he didn’t expect the units to hit more than 500,000 in pre-orders and wouldn’t see 1 million iPads shipped until 2 weeks after general release. The first 3 hours saw 50,000 iPads sell through pre-order, with the remainder coming over the next 2+ days.
