According to Softpedia, you can add another computer producing company to the list of growing names that suddenly have an interest in Tablet-PC maufacturing since the launch of the iPad. ASUS computing has announced that their T1001MT, based off a EEE PC design, will be “convertible”; meaning that it will most likely have a swivel monitor that allows it to be used like a tablet pc.  So, unlike the HP Slate machine, this is a converted eee pc.
